GTX Studios are looking for an experienced programmer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be well versed in C programming, and have a strong understanding of OpenGL, and the ability to create clean code that will run across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux and Mac).

Your responsibilities will be to maintain the core game engine and implement any changes as laid out by the project managers. This is a key role, where you will also have the opportunity to "get creative" by designing and implementing your own ideas!

Assistant Programmer

GTX Studios are looking for an intermediate programmer who is willing to learn, to join our growing team. The ideal candidate would be at an intermediate level in C programming. OpenGL experience is desired but not essential.

Your main area of responsibility will be to work on the core game engine, however work will vary. You will work very closely with the lead programmer and project managers.

To work closely with the Engine Programmer and the Design Team to implement gameplay features and modes. You will also be responsible for bugfixes and implementing updates and features to the gameplay wherever possible. This is a role where you can really flourish and suggesting cool ideas will be one of your key responsibilities!

2D Conceptual Artist

You will be required to take direction from the project co-ordinators and lead concept artist on the artistic style of the game, to create usable concept art of all kinds. You may be required to design points-of-interest from which levels will be based around. You will have the opportunity to pitch ideas, and even develop the direction of the game.

3D Modeller (Player Characters)

  3D Modelling experience using Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, or Blender. Skeletal animation and skinning experience. An excellent attention to detail.

We're currently looking for an experienced 3D to join our brand new, open-source FPS project. "Trinity" is a fast paced futuristic shooter, planned for BETA release in September 2010. The team currently consists of 7 members from the UK, Australia, Canada and the Ukraine, working on varying aspects of the game such as Code, Mapping, Conceptual Art, and Music.

The person we are looking for should be able to take direction from the art director about the different cultural concepts and styles of the worlds within the game, to create high quality character models. You will be working from 2d conceptual artwork to create these models. As these models will be seen by and used players on a daily basis, an excellent attention to detail is required. You must have experience of working with skeletal model animation, and skinning.

Please understand, that this role is non-paying, as this is a completely free-to-play, open source development.
